Реферат:	eng: Areal weathering mantles and linear zones are widespread in the Kokshetau Massif composed of Precambrian crystalline rocks and granitoids. The recently revealed linear weathering zones within linear stockworks with rare-metal or gold mineralization are of the greatest interest. In some cases, such zones are inherited by a hydrographic pattern and display the vertical zoning from the top downward: placer-linear ore-bearing weathering zones often with quartz veins-deep-seated linear stockwork with stringer-disseminated mineralization. Paleoplacers with abundant conglomerates and occasionally with high gold content are established in deep fault zones. In some cases, the linear ore-bearing weathering zones pass into lacustrine sediments of so far uncertain ore resource potential. © 2011 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.
